- How does DeltaSync match products between stores?
- Items are matched by SKU. When inventory changes in your source store, DeltaSync finds the variant with the same SKU in the connected store and updates its quantity. Make sure the SKUs you want kept in sync are identical in both stores.
- How fast does inventory sync?
- Updates are event-driven through Shopify webhooks, so a change in the source store typically reflects in the connected store within a few seconds. If an update fails, a retry queue automatically re-applies it.
- What is the safety-stock buffer?
- An optional buffer holds back a fixed quantity on the target store so you never push the connected store all the way to zero. Set it in the app's Settings; leave it at zero to mirror quantities exactly.
- Will a sync ever loop back and forth?
- No. DeltaSync includes echo-loop protection that recognizes its own writes, so an update applied to the target store does not bounce back and re-trigger the source.
- What data does DeltaSync access?
- Only what's needed to sync stock: product/SKU identifiers, inventory quantities, and locations. It does not read your orders or customer information. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- How do I remove the app and my data?
- Uninstall DeltaSync from your store's Apps menu. Uninstalling revokes access and triggers deletion of your store's data.
